AFAIK the production and shipping of the h6300 series start in September.
Devices reviewed or previewed so far have been prototypes.

Correct - the "Official" release date is August 26th for the States, and
September for other parts of the world. You won't see any legal (from HP's
perspective) releases earlier than that.

although one can get motorola mpx220 MS SMARTPHONE unofficially for 920 USD,
there is no way to get HP iPAQ phone for money... the models reviewed by
some websites
were a gift from HP to some selected enthusiast websites (MVPs?) under
condition that they will sign NDA.

yeah, but September is not far away, we must survive August only....

Are you sure you want a new HP product? Next year possibly like the 'old'
HP's no more updates for the O.S.

Wijnhold
Who wants to update his iPAQ 5550 to Windows 2003 SE
