I bought the gun from a user of this group, the svideo tv version. I
cannot get it to calibrate, when I flip the switch to get to the white
screen it looks like it doesn't display properly. What if anything can I
do to resolve this? Any input is appreciated. -JC

I have the svideo act labs gun also, when you flip that switch and the
screen goes white (which it is suppose to do), you are suppose to hold the
gun about 3 - 6 inches from the screen and move it a couple of times left to
right and back past each side of the screen then go top to bottom and back a
couple of times to show the edge of the screen then flip the switch back and
all should be calibrated. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. I tried swaying the gun in the proper manner
already, I had been able to find that much info on the net. The problem
I think is in the way the white screen comes up. It doesn't fill the
screen, it's flashing a bit like it's out of sync, and off-center, I can
see windows behind it when activated. I think the problem might be that
the svideo isn't going into the tv directly, it's being converted to
composite using one of those Radio Shack wideo switch deals, I forget
the actual name of it. I read on the Act Labs website that it was
compatible with composite as well, but I don't know if the conversion
from svideo to composite might be causing the issue. I'll have to take
the machine to a friends house and test on a tv with direct svideo. Pics
