I have a Calcomp CCL 600XF laserprinter, but i need some info on it. Mostly
i need to know whats the highest level of PCL it understands. And at what
resolution. I'm using it with a Linux machine with lpr and the ghostscript
driver for laserjet at 300 dpi, but graphics look really bad. I have tried
some other settings, but with little or no succes.

It's supposed to do Postscript, but when i try to print anything but text,
all sorts of wierd things happen, like lockups, missing images, empty pages
and stuff like that.

For groups.google:

This printer works better with Cups. Have it working nicely with the
LaserJet 3 driver. But still only at 300 dpi.
