Some of the recent Intel brand motherboards offer a modicum of
overclockability, but IIRC the FSB is limited to a 10% increase from default
value, while you don't get anywhere near the amount of flexibility offered
by other manufacturers.
As you say, you ned an Intel board to use these utilities, and you don't to
buy an Intel board if you're an overclocker. Ergo, the utilities don't do
much for you.
