Mac does not support wpa2

I have an old mac that does not give WPA2 as a connection option, I need to use it as my usual internet connected computer has died, is there a quick work around which doesn't require resetting my router to a less secure setting?

  1. You probably need to state what version of the Operating System you are using before anyone can make more than a misinformed guess.
  2. Running an OSX update should fins any type of wireless connection problems you might be having. Back when i had Leopard on my machine, WPA2 enterprise was an option, and at work we have 10.4 run Powerbooks which connect fine to the network there, so maybe you might be due for an update.
