Bah, plasma is the worst technology ever. Besides I'd need a powerplant just to run the damn thing.

I saw a feature on discovery channel where they can make a screen as big as any wall you have with this weird electron sensitive film.

One of the big selling points of this film is to cover all your walls so you can change the color of a room at willl.... Wish I rememberd the actual name of the chit so I could do a search & post a link..

The biggest plasma is 106" by panasonic, 105" by samsung and then various 100+'s out there.

Even with 1080p res they would look like poo......btw Panasonic Plasmas ALWAYS rank #1 and #2 by copnsumer reports but they look poo-ish

Its call OLED it can be as big as you want and with pixels as close as a crt.....
Yeah you could change the color of a room but it would cost you HELLA for somthing so stupid.

Wait till LED DLPs come out, or 2" thick CRT's come out.

That CRT technology is crazy.....all the ups of a crt (best blacks, best picture quality, best refresh rate and all that jazz) and 2".....crazy

OLED (Organic Light Omitting Diode) is so cool! Super portable...can't wait until it becomes commercial. But there are different kinds......I like FOLED, (Flexible Organic Light Omitting Diode).

One thing though, I thought LED and DLP two way different technologies? How would it be possible to combine them?

Uh, it is commercial: my mp3 player has an OLED display. The problem is the price, a 15' OLED display would cost an ungodly ammount, if it's even possible to make it that size.

Yes I meant the big ones, and flexible...this is what is so cool to me.
