Ok I've narrowed down my problem between mamewah and mame to mamewah.
after creating all the ini files for all of my games, when i launch
them in mamewah, the games are too small and don't fit the entire
screen. When I launch the games from mame, i.e.; mame sf2 or mame mk ,
the game launches beautfilly with resolutions looking optical. I assume
this has to do with a configuration change in one of mamewahs ini. any
help would be appreciated. thanks alot.

Actually, it may be that MAMEwah doesn't have your MAME path set
correctly, and thus isn't getting to the mame.ini or game .ini files.
MAMEwah can be a real pain to get configured properly, but there is a
utility out there that can help (helpfully named MAMEwah Config ;-)
I figured out what I had done wrong. In the properties windows of the
program, i set it to emulate windows 95. I changed it to default and it
worked great. thanks alot guys.
