Hi,

We got a HP LaserJet printer supporting users from multiple platforms. One
of them is a remote print queue configured in UNIX using HP Jetdirect as
backend.

We observe that the remote print queue in UNIX does not response properly
from time to time. On displaying the print queue status, the first print job
shows "RUNNING" while others remain "QUEUED". When attempted to kill the
first "RUNNING" print job, the remaining jobs go through smoothly again.

Is the problem related to some limitations in network printing? Are there
any solutions (e.g. adjust TIMEOUT)?

Thanks,

Mandy
