I registered there at the beginning of last week and still haven't
reveived a logon code. I have trawled a few forums recently and it looks
as if the webmaster of that site is taking an extended period out from
running the site.

Anyone know of any other trackers out there?

It did. I have found a torrent of full .96 ROMs at
http://thepiratebay.com. I'm assuming that there are utilties or other
applications that will keep the ROM set versions up to date when a new
version of MAME comes out.
