Windows 7 OEM Motherboard Upgrade

I have Windows 7 home Premium OEM. In the near future i want to upgrade my motherboard to get sata 3 and usb 3. Does this mean i have to buy a new license key? Also, is it possible to upgrade from OEM to retail so that i have the ability to switch out my mobo as i please.

You could always phone Microsoft and see if they will activate it for you. But the official line is that a new m/b is a new PC so you need a new license key.
