Windows 8 Installation issue - SATA controller

I am upgrading a home built Vista PC to Windows 8. The upgrade assistant said that my hardware was okay. I downloaded the update but now I am getting an compatibility error. The exact compatibility error error is Silicon Image Sil 3132 SoftRaid 5 Controller.

My MB is a ASUS A8N32 SLI Deluxe. I upgraded the bios. Still no luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hook your drive to one of the southbridge nVidia Nforce 4 ports. That should take care of the problem. There are 4 ports near the IDE controller that you can use. Don't use the one back by the audio ports.
