Computer Lock Up

Have a computer that all of a sudden locks up after it is on for about 1
min. It is not a software problem since it can happen in WinXP or even if I
boot to a floppy.

What would be anyone's guess as to what has gone bad. The memory tester is
not showing bad prior to lockup. Could this be a motherboard or video card.
Weird since it does seem to work fine for a minute or so.

Did it work fine previously and what's changed since then?
That seems most likely an overheating problem, perhaps the CPU
heatsink isn't on the CPU good, or a fan has failed... also check
other fans in system.
