I just did a search on the net for any reviews or info about the IBM T750 17" LCD. Couldn't find alot. Only that it has 300:1 contrast, 160 deg angles and 200:! brightness.
I can get it for a good price, but i'm worried from blurring and ghosting. Does anyone can comment on this monitor ? ( i can't do a side-by-side comparison...)
Anyways, since there are new technologies, I have noticed correlations between response time and contrast/brightness. IE, the new LCD's have higher contrasts, and low response time, where as the older ones have high response time, and low contrast/brightness. Therefore, I can tell you that that LCD has a response time of higher than 35ms- most like 40's or 50's, since that's the regular range for IBM LCD's. W/ such response time, u will have probs.
I rechecked and it seems that the conrtast ratio is 350:1. I can get it for $700. I don't live in the US, and this is pretty cheap overhere. A Samsmung 171S costs overhere $860 for example......
