Hello,
I have some Jet Tec ink bottles and my 16 month old son has just been
handling one unknown to me and I have found him with red ink all around his
mouth and over his hands. I dont think he's ingested much but some
certainly went into his mouth. I have given him plenty to drink and washed
his hands thoriughly. Can anyone tell me if the ink is toxic or carcegonic
please I'm really worried.

not to be impolite but perhaps you should seek professional medical
advice or call poison control hotline that handle this sort of thing.
Usenet is the last place I would seek advice, especially in a printing
forum. Thank goodness its not something known to be lethal and you
sit around waiting for replies... wow....

I would contact Jet-Tec at one of the numbers provided here and ask them to
provide the information as per their MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) which
they are required to have available.

Call Poison Control... they will reference the necessary material and
people.

Yeah.... Can anyone direct me to a good horticultural newsgroup. Today out
in the yard I was mixing up some killex and while I was spraying the
dandelions on the lawn my son got into the garage and drank a quantity from
the killex container. I gave him some water to drink and washed his hands
thoroughly but I would still like to know if killex is toxic in anyway.
I know it takes a while for my message to appear here and then even longer
for replies, and I won't be able to check back to see if anyone has replied
to my posts for a couple of days, but I appreciate the feedback anyway. I'm
really worried.
Hmmm MAYBE I SHOULD SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE.....
LOL
