I have a Samsung ML-6060 laser printer, but I can't seem to get it to
print much of the extended character set of Unicode fonts, such as
Arial. In WinWord 2002 the Arial character set shows many extra
characters, such as Cyrillic, symbols, etc. These appear on screen, and
the "print preview" utility, but when actually printing they are
replaced by non-accented characters, or '?'. However if I convert the
document to an Acrobat file, and then print from there, then they
_will_ print correctly on the Samsung!

The "About" screen shows the printer driver as version 1.42.14, but on
the Samsung driver download page the most recent driver is shown as
version 1.03! What gives?

Has anyone any idea how I can get my Samsung to print the full Unicode
character set properly?
