I have one 200 GB disk and everything was working great till one day I
restarted the computer and now it lost all partitions and all computers on
which I connect it, sees it as 137 GB disk? The OS that I am using is Win
XP.

Thank you on all your answers

More specifics are generally a GOOD thing.

For example, what drive make/model, how old are these "all
computers" on which you connect it, and was this a primary
(operating system) drive or secondary?
Does "lost all partitions" mean it shows with NO partitions
existing or that all the data from any/all partitions is now
"missing"?

My initial impression is that your drive is failing, else
user error, virus or other cause has deleted the partitions
or data. I suspect the other systems you tried are simply
too old to support drives over 137GB, else you might have
drive jumpered wrong.

Check jumpers and run the HDD manufacturer's diagnostics,
but first, if the drive suddenly shows the data again be
sure to copy off, backup whatever you can... you might never
get another chance.

So, the drive worked fine, it is WD 200GB HDD dont know specific model. "All
computers" are from pentium III 1000 MHz to pentium IV 2.0 (dont know the
chipstes but other 200 GB WD HDD works fine on all that computers). The
drive was used as secondary drive, only for data. Lost partitions means that
know the drive register himself in disk manager in Win XP like unpartitioned
and it represents itself like 137 GB. Disk utility such like segates utility
says it is 200 GB disk but when I partition in and format it in that
utility, windows denys access to the last partition which crosses the 137 GB
boundry. The message that win displays when I try to access that partition
is I/O device error, but first partition works fine.

Seems to me I read somewhere that Windows XP with SP1 (or SP2, or
course) will recognize drives larger than 137 GB, but Windows XP
without SP1 will not recognize drives larger than 137 GB. You
didn't accidently uninstall SP1, by any chance?
