I'm sure that the pint of Foster's sweating all over the table top
should add some extra value. (ha! ha!) Arcade cabinets on eBay never
fetch enough money to reimburse the time, energy, and money you spent to
build them. I'm guessing yours would sell for $400 - $500, providing you
found someone who fell in love with it and *really* wanted it. And I'm
guessing that nice flat-panel monitor you put in there cost nearly that
much by itself, right?

You'd be surprised then, I bought a 20" LCD that rotates through 90
degrees on ebay for 150 quid, that's about 300 USD or so. New 19"
monitors go for about 200 quid or so from retailers on ebay.

Mind you the persistence on my monitor is a little too long for my
liking, not really a problem but something to watch out for if anyone
decides to pop onto ebay to make a purchase.

It looks good, but I would have placed plexiglass over the top, with the
monitor pressed against the glass, and some original artwork inserted
underneath; same over the control panels. A bit like this:

yeh the plan was to complete the job, plexiglass is already in place on top
but the controls need to be taken off again to do all that (thats why
they're not painted)
I just can;t be arsed anymore and this box is getting in my way!

Know what you mean. I planned 3 years ago to insert orange T-Mold. ...And
nah, I can't be bothered.
