I purchased this SFII arcade box and turned it into a mame box. I
replaced the insides of the machine with a Athlon 1.2ghz, 600mhz RAM,
ArcadeVGA card,iPAC keyboard, ArcadeX joysticks and buttons ( not the
entire joystick+control panel+buttons, but just buttons and joysticks
themselves.

I've played alot of Street FighterII in my life and have no problems
executing dragon punches on other joysticks that i've played on, for
the most part. I've actually even had no problems on exeucting them on
the X-Arcade Two Player Arcade Joystick, but for some reason i have a
problem with my joysticks. I'm not quite sure what the problem is, they
just don't seem consistent.

Has anyone else had this problem? I'm thinking maybe it has something
to do with range of motion possibly? im not sure. is there a way to
improve my situation with mame? or even mamewah? i saw some configs for
joysticks, deadzones, sensitivity, etc... Any input is appreciated.
thx alot.

But I think you should be getting a full 100% framerate with 1.2ghz.
I have a 1.5ghz box and get full speed.

I don't recall any real probs executing fireballs, etc. with my IPAC
and toggle stick or my other controller (the cheesey one with the
button on top).

i seem to have found the "sweet spot", it's just a little off from
where i normally find it on the arcade. rather than f, d, f, it's more
like fd,d,fd. strange.
