graphics cards..

Hi.. I'm confused. I want an Nvidia Quadro FX graphics card.. but.. who
makes them!? Is the above description just a chipset? On dabs.com, they
seem to be made by 'PNY'.. never heard of them. Are they a good
manufacturer?

PNY markets several computer items including memory. I don't think they
manufacture anything, I think they just have branded with their name.

NVIDIA does NOT manufacture any graphics cards. They make the video
chipsets that are then used by other manufacturers to make name brand video
cards. PNY is fine; I have one.

Interesting it seems that both HP and PNY make the Nvidia Quadro FX330.
There is a £15 price difference though! I'm guessing that it might be
because the PNY card comes in a nice box, with CD etc. whereas the HP
might be OEM. Always a danger!
