I'm looking for a low-noise quality power supply that won't break my
budget. I plan to have a DVD burner, one or two SATA drives, a
Pentium 4 540 CPU, Geforce 6600 GT video, 1 gig RAM. The Antec TP-II
380 (possibly TP-II 430) meets these power requirements, but would
like to hear about alternative brands. Thanks.

Antec is considered by many to be one of the best builders of PSU's out
there. I have successfully used Antec's for many years.

Don't know those models, but by Antec Tru550 has been faultless over the
last eight months.
