TG redirected recently to .co.uk

Not sure if this is the correct category...
Today http://www.tomshardware.com/ started to redirect itself to http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/ which is very annoying. It happens with some other sites as well (google.com for instance but I was able to set up the cookie so that this does not happen anymore). Happens with Firefox as well as IE. Can I stop this behavior?
I guess something changed but I did not install anything etc.. may be ISP change? I'm really confused...

i agree i live in the uk and i do not like the uk one my self allso has an Bug as well if your usen opera the Refresh button go Nuts on (2-5 clicks an sec)

i try the removeing the cookie unless its tied to IP then thats anyoing (proxy next)

I have this problem and its worse that first thought. I use the rss feed for TG daily but when i click a lot of links from it i get 404 errors! about every other one is a 404!

anyone got any resolutions?

Tomshardware no longer wants people outside the US to a be able to access the site, so they blocked European IP's and redirected them to the .co.uk site. Unfortunately, this site is not as good as the American, therefore screwing Europeans. This is not a bug, it is idiocy.

Many people have already complained about this (it has been like this for about a month), but the THG staff has yet to listen. Please refer to the "TG Website discussions" section. However, no staff member seems to read the replies in this section, so you might get a better response if you email one of the staff members.
