Guys and gal[s] - well, now that Qoopy isn't around much its only Cheez - I have just installed Skype, tested the settings and I'm damn ready to chat up a storm.

I was meant to chat to Russ and Rc and Dh some time back but was typically lazy in not getting set-up.

I'm bloody keen to give it a burl, so dont be afraid, log onto Skype and lets have a few laughs. Beats the fock out of typing your arse off, eh?

And Tomsmart, dont give me any of that shite about the program not being safe or some shite for your identity - I want to have a chat to you Gov! And in straight English too, none of this with you and Rob talking like Sussex wenches. :lol:

Trillian is just a container that supports a number of chat protocols. It does not support skype (yet) though, bummer.

I really hate to have all these different chat programs installed and running. I love Trillian.

Skype's about the best in voice communication. I just hate to clutter up my system with all kinds of chat clients and that's where Trillian comes to the rescue.

I have the router, the modem and the cable plugged in the modem..


So, as soon as my ISP will wake up and finally accept my MAC adress, I'll be online and I would try to chat with you..

Yeah, RC seemed to get me ok. Although, by the end of the convo I'd had a sixer of Heineken plus onto a couple of rum and cola cans - the booze was flowing at my joint!

Mate, it was RC's accent that was a classic! Great stuff.

For sure, once you're hooked up we'll get a chat thingy going.
