HALO2 Delivery questions

Does anyone know about when the PC ver of HALO2 will come out? Is there any way to buy or build an emulator to play HALO2 on a PC from the XBOX version? Will an emulator slow the game too much? I just dont want to wait another year or 2 for the PC ver and dont want to go buy an XBOX to play HALO2. Thanks.
