Screw egg salad.... Beers best friend...deviled eggs!!

6 eggs halved & scooped.

Mash the yolks finely with the back of a fork

Add 1 tbls Mayonaise , 1 tbls tomato paste (or good ketchup not store brand crap) , 1 tbls "Golds Horseradish mustard" (Out side the U.S. try any good spicy brown mustard & add 1 tsp of hot horseradish), 1/16 tsp fresh ground black pepper

Add a little more mayo according to consistency...Pasty but spoonable

Fill egg whites with mixture & garnish with a light sprinkling of paprika

Sit infront of tube with plate of eggs & favorite brew..Enjoy

Warning the above mixture is not reccomended if you have any intentions of getting laid that evening

Edited to add ketchup variant

Hmm. . . looking for the part about hard boiled (aka hard cooked). . .

2 (1 lb. size) cans sm. whole beets
1 c. cider vinegar
1/2 c.sugar
1 tsp. salt
6 - 8 hard cooked eggs, shelled

1. Drain beets. Reserve the liquid. Place the beets in a 1 1/2 quart jar.
2. Measure reserved beet liquid. If necessary, add enough water to measure 1 cup.

3. In small saucepan, combine beet liquid, cider vinegar, sugar and salt; bring to boiling, stirring. Pour mixture over beets; then refrigerate, tightly covered, 24 hours.

4. Next day, remove beets from jar; put eggs in the jar; refrigerate eggs covered, 24 hours. Also, refrigerate beets, covered.
