Print a nozzle check and examine it carefully.

Are all the lines visible? If not then a nozzle is completely blocked.
Are all the lines evenly spaced. If not then a nozzle is partially
blocked and squirting squint.

In either case, if a normal head clean hasn't resolved the problem use
the Windex procedure that is often described here. Damp paper towel
with windex, move had over the cloth, leave for a couple of hours. Clean
cycle and check. You might need to apply some Windex around the park
position to clear up encrusted ink and prevent the problem recurring.

If no nozzle problems then check the print head height lever on the
right is in the correct position for the thickness of paper you are
using.

Please send me a private email requesting my Epson Cleaning Manual.
There is no charge.

This type of banding is usually either caused by partially clogged or
deflected nozzles, and can be fixed with a couple of bucks of household
cleaning items. Most commonly, it is caused by dried ink under the head.
