Does anyone know if the Hibernate function can be made to work in
WinXP Home Ed. when the only hard drive in the system is a Serial ATA
(Maxtor 80GB/8MB cache)? It always worked fine with my old Maxtor
40GB IDE HD. Now I get the BSOD and have to do a hard reset. Also, I
can no longer use the System Restore tab in System Properties - it
produces an error dialog saying something about "...run dll as an
app..." All other operation seems normal after 2-3 weeks in this
configuration. Thanks...

P.S. - I'm using the newest ATAPI.SYS for what it's worth.

ASUS A7V8X mb / AMD XP1700+ / 512MB Kingston / Maxtor 80GB with 8MB
cache / nVidia GeForce2 MX video with 32MB / SB PCI512 sound
