Moon Patrol "Countinue?"

I first searched Google but didn't find this in the Mame group or in
other Google searches.

Just for kicks, and because my Mame machine is currently right next to
my Moon Patrol, I coined them both up, and hit the start button on both
at the same time.

Aside from Mame running faster... At the end of the game, I noticed the
"insert coins to continue" prompt actually read "countinue", and my
real Moon Patrol read "continue".

Are there different ROM versions for Moon Patrol?
