RetroBlast has just started up a new four-month long contest which
features some truly extraordinary prizes:

SlikStik Lighted Joystick Handles (4 pairs)
X-Arcade Trackball Controllers (5 controllers)
X-Arcade Midway Games Pack CD (50 CDs)

and to top it all off, a fantastic grand prize: your choice of a side-
by-side or head-to-head cocktail cabinet from Dream Arcades (a $699
value!)

And, as the saying goes, "that's not all!" because I'm going to be
having numerous surprise or "pop-up" contests for all sorts of gaming
goodies. It's going to be a fun four months!

Full details on the RetroBlast Front Page. Good luck!

How are you giving these away, they don't exist do they? Didn't they ask
for emails about 5 years ago for pre-orders? Their website hasn't changed.
Do you actually have one (or five)?

They actually contacted me and let me know that the trackball
controllers will finally be shipping in November. They're also sending
me a unit for a review.

Yeah, they've taken forever (about 2 years) to get this product out. I
actually beta-tested a bare trackball for them about a year ago, before
they had finalized the frame.

Looks like it'll finally be ready in a couple of months.

Wow great news. Cool contests also.

However, in the past whenever you posted a review on your website, POMC
always popped up and claimed that you were incompetent, biased, an
industry flack, or some other nonsense. Regs in this group would come
to your defense and then Sinner and POMC would bicker for weeks in a
groupwide flamefest. Tell us the truth -- You had POMC whacked, right?

What, and lose those endless message threads with RetroBlast in the
subject line? ;-)

If you miss those flamewars, you can always just visit BYOAC and watch
Randy Turner of GroovyGameGear rip me a new one after I review his
products...

It's gonna be alright,
It's almost midnight,
And I've got two more bottles of wine.
