this thing works great, i just need to get rid of it.
hasnt crashed in the 2 months that i have owned it!
Asking cost - $1000, willing to negotiate. no trading, sorry.
e-mail me at honestjhon@msn.com if you are interested. or post here, but i will check e-mail more often.
I would like to sell this soon, so if there is someone who was thinking about getting a notebook, then why not get this one?
it is fully loaded...and is ready to go!
i think i would be willing to go for 800, where are you located...i am in southern california.
this thing plays diablo2 pretty good, and will play counterstrike in software with some pretty playable framerates..and doesnt look that bad...
oh yeah, i forgot to add that i am including the usb floppy drive that comes with it...
so you are getting a fully decked out ibm laptop...sure it isnt the most powerful one, but it sure does have pretty much everything!
how bout 850 and but you pay shipping....
i am selling it for a friend, who needs to get the most money he can for it, and is willing to go as low as 850...but remember that this is all the accessories and everything...targus case alone is like 100 bucks....and it is only 2 months old...looks like it is brand new!
I'll ask my friend tomorrow. It;s for his sister, and she said she was going to buy a laptop off a friend, but then teh friend didn't want to give it, so she needs one. Something like that. I'll ask tomorrow, and make him think it's really powerful
Ok, I told him about it, and they seemed OK with the idea. He'll ask his sister tomorrow and tell me for sure. I think if you were to sell it for $800 you'd have a much better chance. In addition, is your e-mail; honestjohn@msn.com the right one to send the request to if they agree?
yeah...e-mail is honestjhon@msn.com
and if it is 800, definately shipping is gonna have to be covered by you guys...or your friend...
because it is a long distance...coast to coast.
i would rather sell the whole thing as one...makes it easier to deal with getting things to where they need to go...and i already told this guy that i would sell the entire setup...case and all...usb floppy drive too...
sorry...
but thanx for the offer...if i get my hands on another, then i will post it here...as i sometimes get spare parts here and there...i will soon probably be posting something on e-bay, or maybe here, if people want to buy my stuff...
any news?
i am typing on the thing as i type...bad sentence...
but yeah, this thing is working awesome..played some counterstrike on it earlier, and had a game of red alert on it...
of course, using my microsoft intellimouse (not included!)
let me know what is going on, because if your friend isnt going to buy, i need to pursue other means of selling it.
if i had the cash, i would buy it from my friend, because i like it myself..
but no spare cash lying around....and i dont really need it, so i cant bug my dad...
keep in touch man...
Ok, I spoke w/ his sister, and she's definetly interested. Now I guess she needs approval from her parents (she's in college btw), and I'll be giving your e-mail address to her when (I say when b/c I;m 99% sure she'll go for it) she approves.
Oh yeah, a few more questions- what condition is the laptop in? Also, is it under warranty? Finally, could you send a pic to my e-mail address (da_gangsta80@hotmail.com). Thanks.
ok, well, the laptop is in BRAND NEW condition...
the only thing that looks used about it is the little nub mouse thing...
it IS under warranty...from IBM...i am not sure about how long it is under warranty...whatever IBM gives as the default...
i will try to get a pic...but i dont have a digital camera...
or a webcam...i will ask friends if they have one...and if i can borrow it...
but basically, it looks like the day it was delivered...
and has been treated with utmost care...
if you know how to clean the nub, and tell me how, i can do that for you...
i just finished installing the latest service packs and updates for win2k...
and i ran memtest on it, no errors for hours of testing...
i can leave the mp3's and games on it if you want...
i have some games on it that dont need cd's...
i can e-mail you a list of them..and you can choose which ones you want...
there are also some programs...
i will definately try and get a pic of it for you tho....just so that you can see what it looks like....
i am e-mailing you a list of the programs that are installed, and you can let me know what you want...
