Hi all,

Question is simple as that. Building a budget PC for a friend and need to
know if that CPU is OK with that Mobo. If the answer is no, can anyone
recommend a decent board that will accept this CPU plz?

Thanks

From the asus website for this board:

"CPU Socket A for AMD Athlon XP/Athlon/Duron up to 2.25GHz+
Thoroughbred/Barton Core Support"

"FSB 333 / 266 / 200MHz"

So, yes you can use it (older durons were 100Mhz FSB, times two for DDR
= 200Mhz, as quoted above).

HTH,

Ari
