I have a Symbol PDT-8100 with a snap-on 36k modem on it. We need these
units to connect to our HQ via RAS every day to sync up. However when the
units dial into the RAS Server, it connects for about 3 seconds then hangs
up. If I use my desktop computer to connect, it connects to the RAS server
and stays connected.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

Thanks.

I'm their consultant. I have RAS setup like normal and from my desktop
machine, I can log into the RAS server just fine. It's just with these @#$@
pocketPC Units that just hang up.

To make matters even quirler, I setup the RAS server to simply answer the
modem using HyperTerminal. They connect just fine and stay connect, so it's
something with RAS.
