I ran into a few problems with OS X on my laptop. I'm using an Acer Aspire 4338-2618 laptop with an authentic version of Snow Leopard. It has installed just fine, however, I could not get the on-board wireless WLAN to work. So I tried using my Ralink RT5070L USB adapter. The driver or utility works just fine (detects my network), but it will not connect. I'm putting in the correct passcode and it refuses to connect. What am I doing wrong?? I'll post a picture. In the picture you will see that the signal strength is pretty strong! If the image is large, I do apologize in advance. I had to use my cell phone, because I'm not sure how to take a Screen Shot.

I have a different Ralink chipset in my wireless dongle and if I recall correctly I had to try an earlier version of the appropriate driver on mine (was a while ago now).

I was able to get it working by going to the advanced tab and fiddle with some odd channel settings that I wasn't familiar with. After that, I saw a handshake icon next to my router SSID. All that's left is: graphics, audio, and battery status.
