I have a question for game's benchmark.
How to run the benchmark for the following games?
1. Flight Simulator 2004
2. Joint Operations
3. Battlefield Vietnam
4. X2-The Threat
5. Colin McRae Rally 4 Demo
6. Halo-Combat Evolved
fraps doesnt really benchmark it jsut shows up-to-the-second fps of the game ur running. great prog, but wont make ne nice charts or nething like that, if thats wat u want.
Homer: (crying) ahhh i dont remember the last time i cried like this!
Lisa: When u put ur shirt on backwards
Homer: (crying) o ya, (crying) the tag chafed my skin (crying)
Fraps can do more than that. I use Fraps full that has a very nice benching utility. It logs 3 files, one of which shows your fps every second. Another shows the minimum, average, and Max FPS during your benching time. You can also set it to bench for a predetermined number of seconds so you don't have to stop it your self. Picking the right games/levels/paths you can pretty much get almost identical scores over and over and give you a pretty decent real world gaming comparison.
