How to you remove Paintball and Solitiare from Windows
Mobile 2003? Theere appears to be a form of Windows File
Protection that blocks the removal via Active Sync.

Those files are in ROM. It is completely impossible to remove them, short of taking a hammer and smashing your PocketPC.

Dennis:
First, thanks for the fast reply.
Second, do you recommend any specific version of hammer?
Finally, is there a way to protect, hide, etc.? I could
not find or think of one.

You should be able to delete the shortcuts that are in the Windows/start
menu/programs/games folder. At least then you would have to go to file
manager and locate the executable to play. You can delete the Games folder
for that matter, if you are going for all work and no play.

You can delete the link. Use File Explorer and go to Windows\Start
Menu\Programs. Paintball and Solitaire should be on the Games subdirectory.
Find the shorcut for those games and delete them (Solitaire.lnk and
Paintball.lnk). To delete, click and hold the stylus and then click on
"Delete" on the popoup menu. That deletes the link, but not the program
itself.
