If you are looking for drivers for the Aureal Vortex 8820 sound card, those drivers are no longer available. So, if Windows 7 doesn't recognize the device and install its own default drivers, then you are out of luck.

You can either use the sound device that is built into your motherboard or you can get a newer, supported sound card.
