Cut. copy, paste not working (more or less)

The copy/paste function was working fine until recently. Is this capability one that can be turned on/off? If so, I'd like to be able to turn it back on. Thanx

Did you try another method -- control + x or control + c or control + v?

did you try right click a file and select copy or cut then navigate your new location and right click on a blank spot on that folder window and select Paste

did you try dragging? Shift-drag to move. Control-drag to copy.

If the keyboard shortcuts aren't also working, you might want to try rebooting and see if those functions work again.
