hi,
All the games that I try to run lately show up with working sound but jumping polygons from the game.
These games used to work fine, and all the sudden they all stopped working together.
If I had to guess i'd say there is something wrong with the graphics card (geforce3 ti200), but my screen seems to work fine, its just those games loading in new windows that show up those weird dancing polygons.
thanks.

Probably your GPU 3d more is messed up! Have you try a reinstall of the latest drivers!

Try to underclock your GPU to see if it's correct the problem... This might be an heat issue or a sign that your GPU is slowly dying!

Sounds like a agp problem.

1. Revert to the lastest non-beta driver
2. Set clocks back to stock.
3. Clean off the HSF
4. Put another Fan on the HSF

Maybe the prospect of repair needed.

ok. I checked and it looked like my fan was broken, which caused the card to heat up to about 65c.
So I attached another fan bringing the temperature down, and this fixed the problem.
Thanks for the help

ah but he was talking about "vertual" memory which is renowned for breaking the fans on a gpu card. I'm surprised you didn't know that.
