Finally got my desktop working with wrt54gs and cable modem. WinXPSP2, all
hotfixes. My laptopdell 8100 wpc54gs card works fine with no security
enabled on the router(well, wpa-psk aes) Uthentication on profile is set to
auto and I cannot seem to change that(if it matters) I pick up someone elses
network channel 11, but notice they have no security enabled. I have
searched linksys site and cannot find the answer. The card is wifi certified
for wpa psk aes, even wpa2, so I want to use wpa-psk eas. Before I start
disabling firewalls and such, is their something obvious I am missing? I do
use zonealarm, but with security disabled on the router the laptop finds it
fine?
thanks
