I have a Hewitt Rand [?] 350mhz slot A computer that was working fine,
and the next day wouldn't show no video, nor any post beep code cluing into
what is the problem. Fans run including CPU fan, and power light on front of
computer is lit.
I've tried: 1) Removing all cards except for the Video -including swapping
out the video card [AGP] with a Pci video card I know is working. Also all
drives as well.
2) Tried to resett BIOS by jumper as well as removing the
battery.
All I can find about Hewitt Rand computers is SH*TTT! I can't find any
website that gives any steps to diagnosing this problem.. Found about 300
sites about beep codes, BIOS issues etc. but none about what to do when the
computer seems powered with no video. No documentation as to what/who the
MoBo is made by even.
I read somewhere a BIOS\MoBo will give video perhaps through a ISA
slot??? Don't have a ISA vid card..

And I thought ComKraq was bad!!!
Any ideas?
Thankx in advance

Have you tried disconnecting all IDE devices as well and just leaving
video, cpu and memory and nothing else.
