A while ago I downloaded the Windows Pocket PC software and upgraded my
2210. Now I seem to read something about a second version of the software.

Can someone please enlighten me? Do I need another download? How do I check
what version I've got?

Many thanks.

Do you mean the operating system of your iPAQ or a program/utility
you installed recently? if you mean the OS.. then i'm afraid there
is no upgrade. HP has decided they will not deliver the 2003SE upgrade
to existing iPAQ's, only on the new series.
For your 2210 there is a ROM update to version 1.10, in case you don't
already have it here is the link:

HP has announced that they will not be releasing 2003 second edition for
existing handhelds. You gotta buy a new model to get the new software.

The version you got is the first edition.

If you go to http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/ [...] ldiPAQ/us/ and
then make the right choices you get what you want too. The direct link
didn't work here either.

Mike, thanks for that. Seems a strange decision from HP and leaves all the
folk who bought early disappointed.
