Why is Windows yellowing my display?

For the past few weeks my display has become increasingly yellow hued. At first I thought my monitor was going as its a few years old. However, my game consoles hooked up through HDMI and component display perfect whites. So, I figured there might be a problem with the DVI cable, but that's not it either because any game I play on my PC displays whites correctly as well.

Yet, any other application I open with windows displays incredibly dingy yellow/orange tinged whites. My entire desktop, my browser, etc. It looks similar to the effect of F.lux except it is constant. I had F.lux installed before, but it's been uninstalled for a long time and I think it's just a coincidence.

Any ideas?

I guess it was f.lux after all. There's a bug that causes your display to yellow if you uninstall f.lux before first disabling it.
