Hi there. I want to pick your collective brains with a few disparate Pocket
PC questions. I have an iPAQ 4355, new to me....
1. Is there any way to have MULTIPLE WINDOWS of internet explorer open at
the same time? Seems that only one can be open.
2. There was a long thread above about traveling with the PPC. While WiFi
is great and I have in the last few weeks found (borrowed?) WiFi in Venice,
Paris, Milan and Boston, there will clearly be times that I need to connect
in to internet in a hotel and ALL hotels have wired modem connections. So
what is your best suggestion for a small modem I can wire in, hooking to my
ipaq by IR, bluetooth, etc? Cost IS a consideration. As is size.
3. Similarly, to be a road warrior, a decent sized keyboard is necessary.
I am thinking a folding one, perhaps IR-connected. There are quite a few as
low as $20 with shipping on ebay. However, my 4355 has a tiny keyboard and
I am hoping it will not interfere with the external keyboard...AND none of
the available travel keyboards list the 4xxx series of iPAQs as being
compatible. Does anyone know of models that are compatible with the 4355?
The pocket PC is a good system, a decent PDA and some computer capabilities.
With the price of SD cards plummeting (just got a 256 meg for $19, and a
128meg for $9 -- see ecost.com), there are lots of possibilities.
3.Last, the Think Outside Stowaway Bluetooth Keyboard seems to be compatible
with h4350 (listed on their pages), and will give you more flexibility than
an IR keyboard:

be careful!
not being a bluetooth guy myself, I'm not sure, but if you get a bluetooth
modem and a bluetooth keyboard, I don't think you would be able to use them
at the same time.
