Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had heard anything lately on DNF? George Brussard posts crap in the DNF forums all the time- but that guy can't be taken seriously.

Anyone seen any articles or hear good gossip?

For being in production for ten god damn years it better the best game I've EVER played.

I posted a flame in their forum about 3 yr's ago {Flames normaly get deleted there within an hour or 2} but mine stayed up for 2 solid days....A satirical / chronological account of all the Hardware, software advancments & dollars I've spent [Hypotheticly to have a rig ready to run it] from the birth of VooDoo grafix to the death of 3Dfx...The Unreal game engine ..how many games made king of the hill That any release of Duke woulda' Knocked off... Yadda Yadda

I even got a personal Email praising my effort for giving them a good chuckle from whoever headed the design team at that time..... I should still have it on some old HD somewhere.....But I ain't lookin...lol

Roger that. As of this moment, HL2 is the best FPS I've ever played. So DNF had better be better than HL2. That would take nothing short of a miracle. :-)

Bah, Half Life 2 is the definition of tedious. As for Duke Nukem Forever, its never going to come out and if it does it'll suck.

Reply to Action_Man

Maybe that's why they called it Forever, that's how long it will take to release.

Duke Nukem (it'll take) Forever is as "Done when it's done" as it has ever been. I'm not worried, there look to be plenty of other games that will actually get released in the next decade.

Ha! Yeah no joke, but still, "when," it comes out, it seriously better the best game I've ever played in my life because ten years is too long for a game. Heck, any good developer can spit out a mediocre game in six to eight months, then in two years the same company can put out a good game, ten years ought to make it hopelessly addicting and incomprehensibly out-friggin'-standing. Again, it better be the best game I have ever played.

I won't hold my breath for Duke Nukem, but I'm looking forward for PREY. ING websit has nice video and if the gameplay is good, that game should rock..

You know what's funny about 3DRealms? Their only claim to fame has been Duke Nukem 3D. A lot of ppl like to credit Max Payne and MP2 to 3DRealms, but it wasn't actually the same dudes working on it.

IMO, 3DRealms is overrated. Every subsequent Duke Nukem game after 3D (almost all for console) sucked donkey balls.

After Prey is released, we'll see just how good 3DRealms is.

Just MO. :-)
