Have a Dell PC (winXP), router, laptop, PDA.
All are connected to the router - the PC by cable, others wirelessly.
Recently I tried and failed at getting my TIVO DVR to 'find' my PC.
TIVO can phone home via internet but can't find the PC. It can find and
transfer date to/from my laptop but I receive an error when it tries to
connect to the PC. Initially, I thought the problem was with the PC
(and it may be).
However, my PDA no longer connects to the internet through the router.
Dell rep says the solution is a hard reset. I know this is little
information but I am now curious if the PDA and TIVO problems have a
common cause. How can I troubleshoot this?

Can you access your PC from your laptop wirelessly? If not the problem may
be with the routers configuration in having the wireless devices on a
seperated network from the wired ones. Also is the TIVO DVR connected
wirelessly to the network?
