I currently have 2 gigs of Mushkin Level 1 memory... 4 sticks of
512... there are 6 memory slots on the motherboard and four are filled
make dual memory... can I add 2 more sticks of 512 for 3 gigs or two
more sticks of 1 gig for 4 gigs total memory ... the open slots are
the purple on each side... any downside to this?
I work with video and the extra memory will be helpful...
Thanks in advance...

After further research I found the answer is no... the 5th and 6th
memory slots will not take double sided memory... In order to go to 3
gigs I would have to pull out 2 of the 512 sticks and replace with 2
1 gig sticks...
