No Hibernation Option in Windows Me Power Options Tool but had it at one
time. I still have standby. I was able to do but not now.

This option may or may not be available, but should work if it is:- Run
msconfig and on the General tab, select Advanced. See if you have the
'enable hibernation' and/or 'standby' check-boxes, if so, you should be able
to re-set.

(NB. For some reason, these check-boxes don't always appear - depending on
the 'hibernate' or 'standby' status - and I've no idea why.)

HTH and good luck

Good stuff!!

As a matter of interest, are BOTH options (hibernation & standby) *still*
available since you've fixed it?

As I mentioned previously, "For some reason, these check-boxes don't always
appear - depending on the 'hibernate' or 'standby' status - and I've no idea
why."
