If you can boot into Safe Mode, check your Close Programs list. If Kb891711
is in the list, use the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel to remove
it; look for "Windows Millenium Edition KB891711 Update". Remove it without
stopping it, or Windows Automatic Update will notify you to get it again. By
using the remove while it is running, the registry entries which start it
will be cleared, but the files will remain in their assigned folder; which
is what will keep Windows Automatic Update from constantly reminding you to
get it.
Now you should be able to reboot in normal mode.
