HP DeskJet 610C - Error in printing

Hello,

I am receiving the following error when trying to print a document.

"There was an error found when printing the document <document name> to

LPT1. The device is not connected."

Do you want to retry or cancel the job?


My OS is Windows 2000. I have found a resolution for this problem in

Microsoft site to apply Service Pack4. Even after I applied the patch I

still get the same error.

I would appreciate if someone can help me in resolving this problem.
