top loading printers

do top loading printers work ok? The only thing I do like about my Xerox inkjet is that it loads from the bottom so I can place a certain amt. of paper in there and leave it alone for a while. Can you also do this w/ top loaders or will the paper bend and end up jamming, etc.?

My old Epson 600 top loader was okay with more paper. However, the paper supporter was a little too small and it would get bent on one corner if left for an extended period of time. Don't you just love gravity?
