Hi,
Every time a program asks to restart the computer.I do restart, but
the problem is that when it reboots. It takes forever to restart.Or
sometimes not at all. Like if you go to windows update, download the
update. Then it requires you to restart the computer. But after shutting
down and restarting. It takes forever or not at all.No desktop or
anything.I have to manually restart the computer.
Is this in the settings in the bios?Tweak UI?
Thanks in advance.

I'd click start > run > type in 'msconfig' and see what's running on
startup. Perhaps you have something running that you don't need or something
that just plain runs too slow. Perhaps it's a Norton product? Okay, so that
was a low blow... But that could easily be the problem. Anyhow, you can
disable what's in there and restart to see which of the programs it is
slowing you down. Do this only if you're 99.9% certain (there's no such
thing as 100%) that your computer is free of viruses, trojans, spyware, or
any other malware variation and have scandisked and defragged. (Best bet is
to do that as well as any malware scans -- be sure to use the latest
definitions -- in safe mode.)
